Bone-Craft of Alegate

Argus, a member of the founding council of Alegate, enjoys carving bone. Many of the citizens of Alegate proudly wear Argus’ craftwork in the form of rings, bracelets, crowns and such. But some times Argus carves little figurines. As these are not wearable, these accumulate until a caravan comes along.

Alegate’s primary export is glazed pots of fine booze, but traders are always happy to acquire a few figurines in the bargain. The traders carry them to distant lands. In those places, strange people will marvel at the scenes depicted by the figurines.

Here is a sampling of the figurines that were traded to the human caravan from The Vigorous Confederacy in the summer of 1051:
